"Liber Amicorum XIX Century"
Bound collection of watercolor engravings, cut-out engravings, some pious images and a set of manuscript pages (poems in English). All in a superb leather binding, with gilded and polychrome stamps, gilded edges in good condition. This work was made in England around 1860 during the Victorian era (despite the title "Selected Album" on the first cover). The condition is good, apart from some loose but present engravings. Presence of a binder's label on the back of the first cover: "Bound and sold by WH VALE - Book seller Hereford". A label stuck at the beginning of the work seems to attribute this collection to a certain Ninna. Some pages remain blank and 52 are decorated and handwritten (see photos for examples). Measurements: 22/27 cm
