Work Signed lower right VanNgonet located on the back in Vung Taù. format 63.5/41cm Born in 1920 in Vung Tàu, he was a former student of the Gia Dinh craft school and became a specialist in both traditional lacquer and gouache. He is considered one of the first master lacquer craftsmen of Bình Duong at the beginning of the 20th century who received official training; he was notably employed by the world-famous Thành Le company.
