"Terracotta Dovecote With Brown Patina Forming A 19th Century Tobacco Pot "
The roof acts as a lid for this tobacco pot (or others), it is made of terracotta with a dark brown patina and offers a pretty bucolic dovecote decor. It is signed JM, that is to say Johann Maresch, known for this type of work in Bohemia, now Czechia, in the second half of the 19th century. Around the lid inside, there are two slight chips that are not serious and are not visible when the pot is closed. It bears the JM55 mark debossed at the bottom.
