Elegant Empire period portico clock signed on the dial Babin, watchmaker listed in the Tardy, dictionary of French watchmakers. Architecture with two columns in black and white marble decorated with mercury-gilded bronze with palmette and rocacea motifs. The upper part is decorated with flower vases on a fish tripod base and at the top of a vase with a very beautiful palmette escape. Large domed dial in white enamel highlighted by an outline of water leaves.
Large original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, hour and half-hour strike on old bell.
