Louis XVI Love And Friendship Pendulum

Pendulum in white marble and gilded chiseled bronzes, representing an allegory of Love and Friendship. Consists of a pedestal pendulum body, richly decorated with tracery scrolls, acanthus leaves and flowers on each side. On the facade, a gilded bronze plaque depicting a group of putti hunting wild boar. In the central part, a movement with a white dial with wire Roman numerals, surmounted by a female figure dressed in Antique style holding in her arms a cherub symbolizing Love and Friendship. The whole resting on six spinning top legs. Louis XVI period.
