He was, among other things, a member of the international society of watercolorists and was also a designer at the Sèvres factory. His sumptuous bouquets and his representations of the park of Versailles were often reproduced in the newspaper L'Illustration.
He has exhibited in London, Brussels, Tokyo, Munich, New York, Madrid and Rome.
Some of his works were acquired by the French state in 1919. Artist listed in Bénézit
