He joined the Society of Mountain Painters (SPM) in 1925 and exhibited at the Salon of French Artists from 19262. Very known for his particularly lively and colorful watercolors, he also devoted himself, especially after the Second World War , with oil paint most often done on panels (hardboard). He mainly painted the high mountains; his works represent in particular the great peaks of the Chamonix3 valley and Oisans but also the peaks of the Swiss Alps.
