"Tripolina Military Armchair Joseph Fenby"
Rare "Tripolina" armchair whose particularity lies in its foldable and thus easily transportable design. Designed by Joseph B. Fenby in 1881 in the United States and subsequently produced in Italy. Model composed of A large removable leather attaches to the ends of the seat. The Tripolina folding chair was used by British army officers in the late 19th century. The Argentine architects Ferrari-Hardoy, Kurchan and Bonet were inspired by it to create the "Butterfly" version in 1938. Beautiful patina of the fawn-colored leather.
