Isidore Marie Peyret is a French painter born in Orthez and one of Renoir's rare students. Both met in Champagne, in Essoyes, the native village of Aline, Renoir's wife, where the later had bought a house in 1896. Isidore was then 16 years old and Renoir 55. He was influenced by Renoir , often resuming his own style. to paint in touches of color placed in small commas.Today Isidore Marie rests in the same cemetery as his idol.
