The 370 compositions of this immense artist, who in his time wanted to illustrate everything, accompany the delicious text of one of the greatest classics of world literature, and make this work an essential for ancient libraries. So-called amateur binding, in good original condition, some wear due to the format, and signed Charles Maillet Paris. Split flyleaf, but overall in very good and solid condition, despite the weight.
