Fascinating photographic document, one of the first photos representing Ajaccio in 1865, taken in the hills above the future seaside promenade, which exists today, Boulevard Lantivy. This entire campaign is now completely covered. The only part of the photo that is perfectly recognizable is the point built near the fort, where we recognize the Peraldi mansion. Michel Aleo is a photographer of Cuban origin, settled around 1860 in Nice, known for having made a well-documented report on Corsica in 1865.
