Rare wedding kimono in blue silk embroidered with numerous good fortune motifs, silk embroidery, gold thread and silver thread.
Exceptional piece due to its quality. Plan for restoration or display.
The red interior silk is flared in places.
Very decorative piece and rare artifact of Japanese culture during the Meiji dynasty see end of the Edo period.
Whatever the silk, this kimono remains a museum garment from the 19th century.
