"Bottle Of Liesse And Its Ludions"
Beautiful and large blown glass bottle containing spun glass ludions, 19th century period. The bottle is corked with red wax, it contains around thirty ludions of different shapes and colors, a majority of which concern the instruments of Christ's passion, we see subjects like; key, trumpet, medal, candles, lanterns, hammer, crown of thorns etc. Some float on the surface of the water, others remain near the bottom. This object comes from a tradition of pilgrimage to Notre Dame de Liesse. Weight: a little over 5 kgs. Note: beautiful collector's item.
