"Complete Samurai Armor - Edo Period (1603 - 1868)."
Wrought iron KABUTO with 62 plates. THEHEN NO ANA (opening at the top) in gilded copper with three degrees. SHIKORO (neck cover) with four degrees in black lacquered iron and blue silk braiding. FUKIGAYESHI (the side fins) in lacquered metal decorated with a Mon in gold metal. MABI SA SHI (the visor) in wrought iron. MAEDATE in deer antler. Samurai half mask called MEMPO in lacquered iron. The pronounced chin, the mobile nose, the pierced nostrils and the visible teeth, the horsehair mustache (missing). Three-stage gorget in lacquered iron and blue silk. SODE (shoulder pads) with five degrees in lacquered metal and blue silk. Breastplate with eight strips of black lacquered iron and blue silk braiding. Arm protections, kote, chain mail and iron plates. Skirt, kusazuri, and shorts, haidate, with five rows in black lacquered metal and blue silk. Leggings, suneate, made of iron plates, chain mail and blue and orange silk. on his back he carries a silk standard with the motif of a Mon. Good general condition, slight traces of oxidation. Additional photos and details upon request. Sold with its leather-covered transport box, gusoku bitsu, and its presentation support. Dimensions of the armor in a seated position: 142 x 51 x 47 cm.
