"Oil Painting Landscape By Brugairolles 19th C"
Landscape with a riverby Victor Henri Arthur Brugairolles. He was a French painter born in Ganges on May 29, 1869 and died in Vichy in June 1936.
A student of Fernand Cormon, he became known as a marine painter and exhibited in 1894 at the Salon of French Artists where he obtained a medal in 1898 of honor and in 1912 a 2nd class medal.
He was made an Academy officer on February 15, 1900
