"Pair Of Cassolette Candlesticks In Gilt Bronze, Louis XVI Period"
Pair of gilt bronze cassolette candlesticks from the Louis XVI period
Candlesticks resting on four ball-shaped feet.
The base is decorated with cartridges and a laurel wreath topped with a fluted, chiseled barrel.
The binet is in the shape of an urn or "cassolettes" decorated on both sides with knots imitating silk.
The upper walls are decorated with acanthus leaves.
The top of the candle holder is removable.

French work from the Louis XVI period circa 1780
Very good general condition with the exception of the lack of a knot on one of the candlesticks
