The ring is extensively engraved with the following latin words and approximate translations:

Left shoulder - ‘REBET ?IA SESTE’ - It is rebated.

Bezel - ‘VIVAS CV MCA ECI’ - Live with me.

Right shoulder - ‘CAFELIX ET CVM RTIO’ - Safe and comfortable.
