19th century school depicting the miniature portrait of a young officer in a double-sided gilt bronze medallion. A reliquary containing a lock of hair and a piece of fabric is present on the back. The whole, under glass, is decorated with a beautiful frieze carved with bouquets, acorns, leaves and flowers.
