"Pair Of Torch Lions"
Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904). A pair of torch lions (as reported in the inventory of the Musée d'Orsay which has a pair) in the shape of pendant heraldic lions. In earthenware glazed in grand feu blue over white tin enamel. “Gallé Nancy” signs with blue enamel in the decor. Model created between 1865 and 1867. Small cooking tears. dimensions: approximately 43 x 27 x18 centimeters.
