"Silver Sewing Kit Early 19th Century Scissors Thimble Case Needles"
Sewing kit in solid silver decorated with laurel branches. All elements are stamped boar's head. They are in very good condition including the thimble which has no holes or dents. The lace guide needle is missing. The box, covered in leather, is also in rather good condition. This kit appears on page 55 of the book "Illustrated sewing kits, late 19th, early 20th century" from Bookelis.
