2nd Empire. Officer's sword of the Imperial Guard from the Manufacture Impériale de Chatellerault, model 1860, NAP III, 19th century. Counter keyboard with pump bearing marking on the top "GARDE IMPERIALE" on an oak and laurel branch. Marking under keyboard in a cartridge: "Delacour fourbisseur de S. M L'Empereur à Paris" and numbered 373. Filigane horn fuse. Chiseled and gilded brass frame with Eagle pommel on thunderbolt and joining arch with crowned "N". Keyboard with the Great Imperial Arms on bundles of flags. Strong triangular blade with median edge and hollow sides bearing marking: Manufacture Imperiale de Chatellerault, officer of the guard, model 1860.
