"Kiss Of Peace XVIIth Mary Magdalene Penitent"
Very pretty bronze peace kiss from the 17th century, representing the penitent Mary Magdalene. The saint is represented with her long wavy hair, a crucifix in hand, with the usual attributes of penance (whip, ointment pot and skull symbolizing vanity and the ephemeral side of life). Beautiful patina, with traces of gilding. Dimensions: 12.5 x 8 cm
