China, Ming dynasty, mid 16th century, Jiajing period (1522-1566).
The deep dish with curved well and flat everted rim, made in thick, heavy porcelain, hand painted with geese, a bird, lotus flowers and floral sprays. Kiln grit adhering to the foot rim.

Height 6.2 cm, diameter 34.9 cm.

No hairlines or chips, normal wear to the rim, see photos.
