these large medals are executed in very strong relief with very beautiful carving work and gilding in very good condition.

It is rare to encounter medals of this quality and size with King Henry IV and his advisor Maximilien de Béthune, Duke of Sully.
They are from the Restoration period and have a diameter of 16.5 cm, very nicely placed on plates covered in red velvet numbered H and S at the corners.
