Rare decorative plate by Auguste Riffaterre in Limoges porcelain from the Art Nouveau period. Riffaterre, decorator, specialist in paste on paste, cited at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893. Our plate is decorated with paste flowers on cetadon and white paste, and a hand-painted rim of flowers and arabesques. Signed in the AR decor for Auguste Riffaterre.
