"émile Didier (lyon, 1890 – Id. 1965), Landscape (1931)"
After his training at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon from 1905 to 1907, Émile Didier became a designer for the Lyon silk industry and devoted his free time to painting. He is co-founder of the Ziniar group (which owes its name to the zinnia flower), which was at the origin of the creation of the Salon du Sud-Est in 1925. The discovery of the work of Fernand Léger and André Derain and his illustrations for the Lyon magazines Manomètre (1922-1928) and Promenoir allowed him to become familiar with the artistic avant-garde.
