Biography:
Eugène Louis Boudin (1824 - 1898) is one of the first French landscapers to paint outdoors.
Boudin was a marine painter, expert in rendering everything that happens on the sea and along its coasts. His pastels, summary and economical, earned him the splendid praise of Baudelaire and Corot called him the “King of the skies”.
