Hand painted with an underglaze blue decoration of two deer in a natural landscape, surrounded by medallions containing floral sprays.
The two plates are slightly varying in decoration and size.
Asking price is for two plates together in one buy.
Dimensions (few mm varying in size):
Height 3.9 cm, diameter 21.7 and 21.1 cm.
Condition:
The first plate warped and with cracks to the front due to firing in the kiln, one of which shows in the back also. Furthermore in good condition with few mushikui rim frits and kiln grit stuck to the base.
The other plate with some mushikui rim frits, cracks to the base due to firing in the kiln and kiln grit stuck to the foot rim, furthermore in very good condition.
