"Vienna Bronze Of The Haldersau"
Unusual early 20th century Vienna bronze signed under the belly ‘GESCHÜTZT’ and depicting the ‘Haldersau’ camped on a red veined stone. This hybrid boar creature with stag, chamois and roe deer antlers and a shot suggested by the proximity of the red stone inlay, was presented by Franz Halder in 1910 at an international hunting exhibition as a piece of jewellery and a lucky charm for hunters.Condition: perfect.
