Circa 1810/1830 France Imposing Duchess bedspread in Beautiran canvas entitled "The art of loving or the Pleasant Lesson" dating from the early 19th century. Quilted quilted set with three high crenellated slopes (85 cm high) and bolster. Very vivid impression on very fine cotton in madder red with copper board. Lining in plush brushed cotton and large diamond stitching. Excellent condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: 191 cm long. 132 cm wide. Height three sides 85 cm. Bolster diameter 20 cm.
