"Indonesian Tiger"
Carved wooden tiger, enhanced with pigments. It probably held a metal excrescence in its mouth, perhaps a coconut scraper. Indonesia, Bali, first quarter of the 20th century. Provenance: Estate of the collector and art dealer Claude de Marteau. Sold with certificate of provenance. L 72 CM XH 15 CM
