Clock of an unusual model. Collector's item. Tortoiseshell and brass marquetry. Blue turtle on the front of the clock. Gilded bronze applications. The circular bronze frame bears the signature "LL". Mechanism signed Vincenti & Cie. Bronze signed HPR - Henry Picard, who worked in Paris between 1831 and 1864, and who was renowned for the casting and gilding of decorative objects of very high production quality. The clock has been professionally restored. The height of the clock is 62 cm.
