Beautiful earthenware basin decorated with chrysanthemums and apple blossoms, butterflies and various insects. Decor painted by hand in the workshops of Louis Damon, perhaps by him, a hollow letter L in the ceramic being visible. A label "Aux vases Etrusques" 20 BD from Malesherbes Paris is visible under the heel of the basin. Circa 1880-1900
