"Mary And The Dove...magnificent Anonymous"
Mary is in heaven, no doubt the dove has confirmed her condition... not the blissful one, the other... Future parturient... Oil on canvas from the 18th century, mounted on a more recent canvas; we can still see the trace of the oval frame from other times. This painting is part, almost identically, of the heritage of Montreal (see the photo) we also find the same subject in the Loiret, in the Ste Eustache church in "Le Charme" and the oldest trace that I have been able to find is a Limoges enamel on copper by Jacques Loudin (1663-1729).
