Beautiful and very fine bouquet of roses, pansies and anemone, made in watercolor with perhaps enhanced gouache, by the artist (Anne) Ida Egger, who was a student of Pierre Joseph Redouté. From 1834 to 1838, she was represented at the Paris Salon. Recognized in her time as a great master in the making, she died prematurely in 1840. Signature lower right. Original frame work..
