Suite of 4 Louis XVI armchairs from the 18th century all stamped FC.MENANT in a more or less legible manner. Originally lacquered, the armchairs had to be washed. The tapestry is in very good condition and is recent. The fabric should be cleaned to remove traces of storage. Accidents, old restorations, two front legs of a seat redone identically. Relaquered and adorned with a pretty fabric they will form a pretty suite. During his short career as a master carpenter, MENANT produced a large number of seats, and moreover of good quality.
