Important Antique Baluster Vase With Celadon Green And Nuanced Caramel Brown Marbled Decor

Beautiful old ceramic baluster vase; it rests on a slightly flared base forming a small overhanging heel from which the frustoconical body of the vase rises up to the shoulder to narrow into a constriction before flaring to form a small neck hemmed with a lip.
You will notice the beautiful mottled appearance of the glaze with vertical stripes of a very nuanced caramel color melting onto a cetadon green background and becoming lighter towards the top of the vase.
The interior features a blue-green glaze, the lip of the neck shades of purple-brown. It presents on the reverse a letter, a number or a monogram (to be identified).
