"Louis XV Screen Table"
It is a Louis XV period screen table, curved on 3 sides. In violet wood, maple and flower marquetry, it is elegant and refined. Its top is in Morello cherry marble inlaid with a strip of semi-precious stone and molded with a corbin beak. It has been restored. It opens on the front with a drawer, and on the right side with a second which reveals an inkwell. Its screen at the back lifts up to reveal an elegant toile de jouy with Asian decorations, which helped protect the candle from drafts. L 44.5 cm H 73.5 cm D 34 cm
