"Advertising Cigar Cup "
Original small advertising cigar cutter for E. Mercier and co. champagne. Metal case marked on both sides with the words: “import” the metal cigar cutter with small mother-of-pearl plates appears when you pull the handle of the knife. Three clues suggest that this Bowie-shaped object in its case was intended for the American market: - the "and code" - the word imported - and especially the Bowie shape. Early 20th century. Very good state. Length closed: 6.5 cm length open: 7.4 cm.
