Patent leather bomb with gilded brass visor ring.
Plaque of the Imperial Office for the Colonies or Imperial Secretariat of State for the Colonies, representing the symbol of the Ministry, namely the flaming eagle surmounted by a banner and a crown.
The bomb is topped with a spike fixed to a round base by four star-shaped rivets.
Leather chinstraps, covered with a decreasing series of cut brass scales.
Black, brass and red cockade. Interior lined with brown leather and green cloth.
