Jean-Baptiste POURCELLY (Active 1791-1802) "Italianizing landscape" Gouache and watercolor on thick paper, signed lower right "pourcelly" with 19th century mounting and cartridge, with Louis XVI period frame. In perfect condition, with rare freshness of colors. Dimensions with frame: H.65cm x L.75cm Originally from Marseille, Pourcelly is known to have exhibited in Paris at the Salon between 1791 and 1802. This very beautiful gouache is to be placed around 1780-1790.
