Martine ROUART born in 1934 Martine Rouart is a contemporary painter and sculptor born in 1934, daughter of Paul Rouart and Agate Valéry. Painter and sculptor, she received training at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, author of a book of memories "La cook de Mallarmé".
Granddaughter of Paul Valéry, niece of Paul Gobillard and grand-niece of Berthe Morisot, she spent her childhood with her grandfather, in the apartment on rue de Villejust, with walls filled with paintings by Manet, Degas , Berthe Morisot, and saw Gide, Renoir, Poulenc parade....
