The bases are in bronze, the enameled earthenware is of different colors (beige, pink, yellow, gold and lapis lazuli blue) decorated with birds, butterflies, flowers and plants.
The crystal bowl unscrews.
The electrical part is separated via 2 fixing lugs.
We note that on one of the two lamps, we have a leg which is broken (we have the small piece) and on the other, we see that it is slightly cracked which does not prevent good stability for the two lamps.
We do not know the origin of the earthenware.
Above the bowl it says "Messenger's Patent".
These are old kerosene lamps that have been electrified.
Under the lamps, it is noted : “Cagneau, 115 rue Lafayette, Ci-devant, R. D’Enghien” numbered 21236 for one and 21237 for the other.
Very good quality of bronze carving and very good condition of the gilding.
