Beautiful painting with watercolor technique on cardboard by Neapolitan painter Giovanni Brancaccio, depicting village scorn and children intent on play;
Great skill of the painter in minutely depicting every detail.

Attended the Naples Art Institute and graduated in 1923. He taught printmaking from 1925 to 1935. At a young age, he creates set designs for the De Filippo company's theatrical shows. From 1929 he joined the artistic current, called Novecento and became a leading exponent of it, in the Neapolitan sphere. In 1929 he participated in the Barcelona International Exhibition. In the 1930s he also devoted himself to sculpture. From 1930 to 1938 he participated in editions of the Venice Biennale, and from 1931 to 1959 he was present at the Quadriennale in Rome.
In 1936 he began to devote himself to the fresco technique, executing some decorations at the Milan Triennale.
In the years 1949 and 1950 he participated in the establishment of the Verzocchi Collection-focused on the theme of work-by sending a Self-Portrait and the canvas Fishermen in the background. This Collection today is preserved in the Pinacoteca Civica in Forli;
