Wrought iron war falconer. Large blade has a single edge and convex, a square ergo on the lower edge, it was used to block another weapon, a mounting socket. The falconer was fixed on a pole up to 2 m long. This fauchard is a late model, remember that these were still used in the 18th century for the defenders of fortifications, and armed the chouans during the revolution. Former Mr S collection.
