Oil on canvas signed lower right. Located and countersigned on the back “puerto de Valencia – m.marti”. Bears the remains of an old exhibition label on the back. Vintage second half of the 20th century. All in very good condition. Miguel Martí (Banyeres 1932, Valencia 2020) Creator of a series of paintings where the landscape of light and pictorial textures are the protagonists. He has received numerous awards, most of them awarded in Italian and French cities, in addition to exhibiting internationally. His paintings are cheerful, rich in nuances and tones which construct lights and shadows over the brushstrokes, suggesting breezes, swaying the vegetation in an elegant and subtle way. Valencian geography populates his work, capturing the essence of timeless corners, patios with floral hubbub, homes blending into nature and an intense sun that bathes the scenes. He won First Prize in the “Grand Prix d'Europe” Painting Competition in Strasbourg (France. He has exhibited individually at the André Well Gallery in Paris, in Norway and at the San Vicente Gallery in Valencia.
