In the lower part the bronze figure features a mark with a triangle with letters BM in the centre and AFG at the corners, probably a foundry mark.The Austrian sculptor Hans Müller was born in Vienna Austria 1873. He was a pupil of Edmund von Hellmer at the Vienna Academy of Art and is best known for his busts of famous Viennese Society, he modeled a few animal sculptures mostly of hunting dogs.
