Beautiful old snuff box with a musical cylinder. The box is made of pressed horn with silver lid and hinge and mother-of-pearl cartridge. On the front there are two buttons with a mother-of-pearl pinion to operate the mechanism. The mechanism is secured with 4 screws at the bottom center of each side. At the bottom, we find the winding mechanism. The movement plays 2 melodies in a very harmonious and clear sound on a sectional comb.
