"Living Room Table"
Small living room table in rosewood veneer opening with three drawers on the front resting on four legs joined by a crotch shelf. Carare marble design Joseph Schmitz - cabinetmaker. Paris. Master on June 18, 1761. He lived on rue de Charonne, from where he disappeared before 1782. His mark is found quite frequently on Louis XV furniture in veneer wood, such as ladies' tables and chests of drawers.
