Elegant Bronze Pot, Japanese Decor, Foliage & Dragonfly, Art Nouveau Period, Circa 1890

Very pretty pot, or cup, in bronze. Resting on a free-form base, it is decorated with a Japanese decoration of foliage where dragonflies fly, scalloped upper border. The interior has a small border, which suggests the presence of a lid, which is now missing. Signature in the decoration at the foot, “Joel”.
Excellent condition, except for the possible absence of an interior cover.
European working, probably French, dating from the Art Nouveau period, Circa 1890-1910.
Dimensions: 8cm H x 9.5cm. Base 7x7cm.
